Hailey Hotter

Year in school: Sophomore

Major: Biology

Voice Part: Alto

Haley is very excited to start her first year in Sonata Problem. She has been involved with music ever since she can remember. She used to walk around my house singing everything she was doing! In first grade she started playing piano and took lessons for 12 years, and she started playing the flute in fifth grade and continued all through high school, receiving the John Philip Sousa award. Hailey was a proud member of her school’s Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Select Women’s Ensemble, and Tri-M Honors Society and was honored to receive the National Choral Award her senior year. Not only was she highly involved in music, but she was also very involved in golf and horseback riding. Horses have had a major influence on her decision to pursue a degree in biology. She is currently hoping to become either a veterinarian/equine chiropractor or wildlife biologist. Music is a huge part of her life and it is what drives her every day. Music helps her to destress and relax. Hailey can’t wait for all of the wonderful memories that are going to come with this great group of people she likes to call a family!
